wood plank or wood parquet
hello mga sis, we need some help and suggestions because hubby and i are not sure whether we should use wood parquet sa 2nd level ng house namin...we found out kasi that it needs maintenance daw after 10 yrs...ayoko naman nun kasi its magastos...hehehe....meron ba gumamit ng wood plank sa inyo? mas maganda ba sya sa wood parquet?

Sabi ni Jason wood planks nalang gamitin mo, kasi yung wood parquet pag natanggal yung isa domino reaction, may tendency na sunod2x na matatanggal.
And he suggested na din to use laminated flooring. Mas mura daw yun saka less maintenance pa. hope this helps.

Type ko rin ang wood planks rather than parquet, especially appearance wise. :)

hi malou - thanks sa info sis! wala din kami idea pano install yung wood planks...nakita lang kasi sya ni hubby and nagandahan pero when we researched about it, laminate lang pala sya so baka madali lang masira?

hi leah - pareho tayo i like the appearance of wood planks...we often use that here in canada...mas neat kasi tingnan no and elegant...
hi mama jenn - yun din problema namin, maintenance...alam kasi ni hubby na ayaw ko amoy ng floorwax and di ako nagflo-floorwax...hehehe...naisip siguro nya "naku ako lang magflo-floorwax nito sigurado"...hehehe...and ayoko din ng gastos after few yrs...

Hi sis, sorry now lang me reply (medyo busy rin sa house)di pa rin kasi tapos. anyway, honestly, no experience pa ko with those eh I asked my old officemate sa archietectural firm namin, in case na rin ma encounter ko yan in the future, She said wood planks are better, mas makapal & mas malapad compared sa parquet. mas matibay in the long run. =)

sorry ngayn lng me reply (busy rin kasi sa house)d pa rin tapos eh. Anyway, I asked my ofcemate dun sa dati namin arhitectural firm & she said na mas ok ang wood planks, mas malapad & mas makapal compared sa parquet which is mas matibay in the long run. =)
